Episode I: New Beginnings

Once Upon a Time… in a Grocery Store far far away…

Alex and Katlyn met at work in December of 2023. They began to talk in the new year and started officially dating in July. Katlyn and her family moved to Tennessee in the middle of July and from that moment on Alex and Katlyn have been in a long-distance relationship.

Episode II: The Start

Once Upon a Time… in a City far far away…

Alex and Katlyn began their long-distance relationship journey with the help of Facetime, texting and snapchat. Alex visited Katlyn for the first time in August with outings that include hikes, ice cream, caves, and the Parthenon in Nashville. At the end of this visit Alex knew he wanted more out of their relationship and asked for Clayton and Susan’s blessing to propose to Katlyn<3. After another visit, Alex proposed at the Parthenon in Nashville on September 20^th!

Episode III: The Journey

Once Upon a Time… in a Car far far away

After they got engaged, wedding planning began immediately. Trips between Tennessee and Ohio became regular endeavors for this couple. Up to this point in time Alex and Katlyn have made 8 trips between the two of them to see one another! Long distance relationships are hard, yet Katlyn and Alex have been working hard to maintain and grow their connection and build their relationship. Wedding planning is continually going, and they look forward to the day where they say “I Do.”

Episode IV: The Hope

Once Upon a Time… in a Home far far away

The days are being counted down and the planning is continuing. The planning is double sided in that the Wedding Day may be wonderful and fun, but there is also a need to plan and pray for the days after “The Day.” The wedding plans will end but plans for their future will continue to grow and manifest. God has brought these two people together and may He keep and guide them in their future as “Man and Wife.”
